My husband and I have lived in Bloomington for over 40 years. Our children attended Bloomington Public Schools, where they benefited from a wide range of experiences from Special Education Services to Advanced Placement classes. I have worked as a Substitute Para in most of our buildings and in a variety of programs. As a board member, I visit classrooms and attend events at our schools. These combined experiences inform me of the diverse needs of our students. We have an excellent school district because our students have great educators, involved families, and a supportive community. In Bloomington, we share the value that every student deserves an opportunity for an excellent education. A quality education for all is one of the foundations of our country, and we must work together to continue providing the best educational outcomes possible for our students. I have been advocating for children all of my adult life, serving on committees and in leadership positions at both the local and state levels. It has been my honor to serve on the Bloomington School Board. Thank you for allowing me to serve our community. I want to continue putting my experience and passion to work for the students of this community.
